The Hotel Ipomea Club is situated directly on the beautiful bay of Santa Maria di Capo Vaticano in Ricadi, a few minutes away from Tropea. Its strategic position and the hospitality of the staff will make the guests' holiday relaxing and unforgettable. The Ipomea Club has 52 rooms with two, three and four beds, equipped with all the comforts and air conditioning/heating. The balconies and the terraces are the best places to have breakfast. The guests can relax in the big pool decorated with a ceramic mosaic, with hydromassage, geysers and a solarium terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas. From the solarium, the guests can reach the private white-sand beach where there is an umbrella and two beach chairs reserved for each room. The sea bottom is made of sand and pebbles that turn into a granite basal inhabited by thousands of small fishes. From the beach, the guests have direct access to the "Veranda di Lighea", one of the most charming areas of the Ipomea Club where it is possible to have lunch or relax with a drink, admiring the wonderful landscape.
Restaurant
The Hotel Ipomea Club has two elegant and comfortable dining rooms: the indoor "Sala delle 3 modelle" (room of the 3 models), and the outdoor "Veranda di Lighea", overlooking the sea. Both of them are beautiful and suggestive, perfect for events and meetings. The simple and refined kitchen is the main strength of this hotel. It offers fresh fish or meat dishes and a wide selection of the best regional wines. The Ipomea Club bar overlooks the terrace with the pool and is the ideal place to spend relaxing moments listening to music and enjoying the wonderful view on the Bay.
Locality
Capo Vaticano is, according to the famous French magazine "Les Grands Voyageurs", the third most beautiful beach in Italy and among the 100 most beautiful beaches in the world. This extended seaside locality is a fraction of San Nicolò, in the municipality of Ricadi, located along the famous "Costa degli Dei", a piece of the southern Tyrrhenian coast with a tourist vocation.
Places to know and visit
The panoramic viewpoint is, without a doubt, one of the things to see in Capo Vaticano. Its 124 meters of height allow the tourists to admire the many coves and inlets of the coast, characterized by white sand and crystal-clear sea.
Visiting the Costa degli Dei is a wonderful experience; the boat trip includes the route from Capo Vaticano to Tropea and along the way it is possible to admire small bays of white sand and beautiful sea bottoms ideal for snorkeling or scuba diving.
Grotticelle, one of the most popular beaches of the area, consists of a long white-sand beach and is actually made of three adjacent beaches. The blue crystal-clear water is shallow. The other beaches are: Tono beach, Santa Maria beach, Torre Ruffa beach, Praia di Fuoco beach, Formicoli beach and Riaci beach.
