Locality
Lido Marini is a wonderful bathing locality in the province of Lecce, Low Salento, municipality of Ugento. Located between Torre Pali and Torre Mozza, this locality is situated at the foot of one of the "greenhouses" of Leuca, in the extreme south of Puglia. Lido Marini is one of the most beautiful bathing areas of the entire Salento: the water is crystal clear and the shallow sandy bottom is suitable for everyone. It is also situated in a strategic position halfway between Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca and not far from Torre San Giovanni. Those who choose this destination will enjoy an amazing natural landscape but also the characteristic nightlife of Salento.

Places to  visit
Torre Pali, in Salve, is one of the many sixteenth-century coastal towers wanted by Carlo V to protect the territory from the saracenic invasions. The tower was built on the dry land but, due to the erosion process, it detached from the coast and now it is completely surrounded by the sea.

Torre Mozza is located in the province of Lecce. It was wanted by Carlo V during the sixteenth century. During the Second World War, the tower was used as a shooting point. It has been renovated during the years.
