Sangineto

is a town in the province of Cosenza in Calabria. The urban connotation is divided into two nuclei, the very characteristic historic center which is located in the mountains and the Lido (Le Crete) which is located along the coast. This feature makes Sangineto one of the most popular destinations in Calabria. In Sangineto there are many clubs and tourist accommodation facilities. Along the Lido stands the "Castello del Principe" monument of the XY century with a square plan with 4 towers and a loggia. In summer, various events, events and shows take place in the castle gardens. Of note are the musical concerts from the "Peperoncino jazz"

By plane Lamezia Terme airport at about 70 Km. By train Paola (CS) railway station at 30Km. or Diamante (CS) at 13 Km.

By car coming from the North A3 Salerno - Reggio Calabria motorway, exit Lagonegro Nord - SS Valle del Noce towards Praia - SS 18 Sangineto Lido exit.

Coming from Bologna - Taranto A 14 along the SS106 - A3 entrance at Sibari towards Reggio Calabria - exit for Guardia Piemontese - SS18 towards Salerno, Sangineto Lido exit.

Coming from the South A3 Reggio Calabria - Salerno Falconara exit along the SS18 - Sangineto Lido exit.
