Breakfast. Morning dedicated to a guided tour of Athens. The itinerary begins at the Acropolis, home to one of the world's most celebrated archaeological sites. Visit the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. Continue with a visit to the Acropolis Museum, a masterpiece of contemporary architecture perfectly integrated with the ancient remains.

The tour continues by coach through the city's most important landmarks: Syntagma Square, with the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Parliament, then Panepistimiou Avenue, lined with the neoclassical buildings of the Academy, the University, and the National Library. Drive past Omonia Square, Stadiou Street, and Herod Atticus Street, home to the Presidential Palace and the famous Evzones guards.

Free afternoon. We recommend visiting the Panathenaic Stadium, venue of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, the nearby Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, and the Zappeion Hall, set within the beautiful National Gardens. Overnight stay.

Breakfast. Meet at 08:00 AM in the hotel lobby and depart by coach along the coastal road towards the Corinth Canal, where a short panoramic stop is scheduled. Continue to Epidaurus to visit the famous Theatre of Epidaurus, renowned worldwide for its perfect acoustics.

Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the archaeological site of Mycenae, including the impressive Lion Gate and the Royal Tombs, remarkable remains of the Mycenaean civilization.

Afterwards, continue to Olympia, crossing the heart of the Peloponnese, to reach the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Dinner and overnight stay.

Departure by coach towards northern Greece, crossing the Gulf of Corinth via the impressive Rio-Antirio Bridge, one of the country's greatest achievements in modern engineering. Free lunch stop along the way.

In the afternoon, enter the historic region of Epirus, the ancient kingdom made famous by King Pyrrhus. Upon arrival in Ioannina, enjoy a short walk through the old town and visit the impressive Ioannina Fortress, an important stronghold during the long Ottoman rule. Dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast. Departure by coach with a short stop in Metsovo, a charming mountain village renowned for its traditional architecture and breathtaking mountain views.

Arrival in Kalambaka and visit to the world-famous Meteora Monasteries, outstanding masterpieces of Byzantine art dating back to the 14th century. Perched atop towering rock formations, they are among Greece's most spectacular landmarks and remain active centers of Orthodox Christianity. During the day, two monasteries will be visited.
