The Grand Hotel Miramonti is located next to the ski lifts of the Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area, within walking distance, in the most central, sunny and quiet area of Passo del Tonale. The variety of services and activities offered make it suitable for the needs of the whole family and all lovers of sport and relaxation. The Hotel has in fact a living room, TV room, large and bright restaurant, unattended outdoor parking (at a time of exhaustion), bar, pizzeria with wood oven, diner, own production of pastry, ice cream and crêpes, games room, theater, disco-pub, smoking room, garage, gym (no admission for children under 18) and a newly built Wellness Centre with indoor heated pool, whirlpool, Finnish sauna, Roman sauna, Kneipp path, frigidarium, massage cabins and beauty treatments (access not allowed to children under 16).
The rooms of the Grand Hotel Miramonti have telephone, TV, safe, mini fridge, bathroom with hairdryer. They are divided into two types: Standard rooms with a classic decor, most with carpeted (3 large/ 4 large bunk bed); Comfort rooms, larger than the previous, renovated and furnished in a traditional but modern style, with wooden floor.
At the restaurant of the Grand Hotel Miramonti, the rich breakfast is an assisted buffet, lunch and dinner are served at the table with a choice of 3-course menu and buffet of appetizers at noon and vegetables at dinner, homemade desserts. On request menu for vegetarians, vegans and celiacs. Children’s menu with possibility of lunch with the miniclub (from 4 years) for guests in full board (with supplement on site for guests in half board). Weekly dinner with tasting of typical products.
The Tonale Pass (1 884 m asl) is an alpine pass in the Southern Rhaetian Alps that separates the Ortles Alps to the north from the Adamello and Presanella Alps to the south, connecting the Val di Sole to the east (Vermiglio) with the Upper Valle Camonica (Wooden Bridge) west. Located on the administrative border between the province of Brescia and the province of Trento, it has developed in urban planning in recent decades; both summer and winter tourist center, the Tonale Pass is a base for numerous mountaineering and hiking itineraries that allow you to get in touch with the nature of the Rhaetian Alps and the historical reality of the White War (World War I) that here has left numerous signs still alive in the landscape. The largest winter sports resort in Trentino and Lombardy, it has a ski area of over 100 km of slopes, which, since 2006, thanks to a cable car is connected with the stations of Ponte di Legno and Temù.
Brennero motorway (A22) to Trento or preferably S. Michele all'Adige, then SS 43 via Mezzolombardo, Cles, then the SS 42 crosses the whole Val di Sole.
Those coming from the North-West (Milan - Turin) can quickly reach the Passo del Tonale. In this case highway A4 Milan-Venice until Seriate exit and follow the sign Passo Tonale.
