In 2006 it was created to welcome the athletes of the Winter Olympic Games, today it is the ideal destination for holidays based on sport, nature, wellness and relaxation. Modern structure, equipped with every comfort, has mini apartments that overlook a splendid alpine scenery. It is located just 50 meters from the ski lifts and the golf course. Th Olympic Village offers its guests wi-fi, covered parking, fitness center and swimming pool, wellness center with whirlpool, sauna, turkish bath, and a wide choice of beauty treatments *; central buffet restaurant with pizzeria, clothing stores, accessories, typical products, mini-market and hairdresser; evening entertainment; play area dedicated to children in the solarium area of the Village; laundry service directly in the rooms * and bike rental *. *Payment services.
The structure has 245 spacious and elegant rooms of various types: two-room and three-room apartments offering its guests elegance and comfort. They have: living area consisting of: sofa bed for two people, kitchenette with appliances, TV, safety deposit boxes, large south-facing terrace, double bedroom and bathroom with shower. We offer our customers a different menu every day, a menu made up of seasonality, which tells the story of the territory and beyond, a pizzeria is also available to guests.
Sestriere, located at 2035 meters on the homonymous hill overlooking the Val Chisone and the Valle di Susa, was the first modern Italian ski resort. Founded in 1937 at the instigation of the Agnelli family, Sestriere today offers snow enthusiasts every opportunity for fun. In 2006 the Sestriere area was the site of the Winter Olympics, consecrating itself as the Piedmontese homeland of alpine skiing, with the large number of slopes distributed on different slopes at high altitudes able to guarantee, together with the programmed snow, a constant snow cover for all season. In addition to the quality and vastness of the area, there is a wide and varied tourist offer, both in summer and in winter, with shops, spas, gyms, hotels and restaurants of various kinds.
In winter, Sestriere is considered a skier's paradise, as it allows you to ski for several days on always different and perfectly snow-covered slopes. Among its ski slopes there are the beautiful "Kandahar" that descends from Monte Banchetta, whose track is particularly demanding, with various changes in slope, ideal for alpine skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, and the "Sises" slope, which it takes its name from the mountain of the same name and has a fairly demanding route characterized by a continuous succession of very technical passages. On the Monti Sises, Banchetta and Fraiteve are the slopes that together make up the large Sestriere area, perfectly integrated and connected with the rest of the Milky Way. For cross-country skiing there are several kilometers of groomed trails, such as the very sunny and panoramic ones of Monte Rotta. Even ski mountaineering lovers will find here some respectable trips, such as the ascent to Rognosa del Sestriere, a classic spring climb, or the one to Monte Banchetta at the beginning of winter or in spring, when the lifts and slopes are now closed.
In summer, Sestriere is a modern tourist resort, offering vacationers many opportunities for recreation, with indoor swimming pools and tennis courts, an ice skating rink, a large commercial area with various shops, restaurants, pubs and discos. Not far away it is possible, along the road that descends into the Chisone Valley, to visit the beautiful Fenestrelle fort stopping in the ancient villages that meet on the road.
