Day 4 Bangkok → Damnoen Saduak → River Kwai → Kanchanaburi
Early in the morning, departure for one of Thailand’s most famous and picturesque corners: the lively Damnoen Saduak floating market in the Ratchaburi province, where goods are carefully arranged on boats that serve as stalls, creating a delicate harmony of colors, aromas, and flavors. During the visit, there will be a chance to observe the daily life of the locals, including their traditional homes along the riverbank. The journey continues to the peaceful province of Kanchanaburi, a site of significant yet tragic historical events during World War II. Upon arrival, visit the interactive “Thailand-Burma Railway Centre” museum and the Allied war cemetery, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, embark on an intriguing journey along the Kwai River through the jungle to the famous bridge. The trip takes place aboard a train on the so-called “Death Railway,” a line dug by hand into the rock by Allied prisoners of war, known for the countless lives lost due to the inhumane conditions of forced labor. Check-in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Lunch at a local restaurant and the afternoon free for relaxation or optional activities. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 Kanchanaburi → Ayutthaya → Bangkok
In the morning, after breakfast, we head to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Siam for four centuries, home to the splendid archaeological park recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Among the sacred ruins stands the Wat Mongkhon Bophit, which houses a large bronze Buddha statue, originally placed outdoors and later sheltered. In 1767, during the Burmese sack of Ayutthaya, the sculpture was severely damaged; it was later restored, but some of its original refinement was lost. Special mention goes to the beautiful Buddhist sanctuary Wat Pananchoeng and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the largest and perhaps most magnificent temple in the area, which was for a long time an important spiritual center for the Thai people. After the visits, in the early afternoon, return to Bangkok, the fascinating and beloved capital of Thailand, with transfer to the hotel.
