Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the “Imperial Istanbul” tour. The visit begins at the ancient Hippodrome of Constantinople, once the center of Byzantine public life, where chariot races were held and where historic obelisks can still be admired today.

The tour continues with a visit to the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, better known as the Blue Mosque, followed by the impressive Basilica Cistern, an extraordinary underground structure built in 532 during the reign of Emperor Justinian I, at the height of the Eastern Roman Empire.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Topkapi Palace (Harem section excluded), residence of the Ottoman sultans for nearly four centuries. Its architecture, lavish decorations, and priceless collections reflect the power and grandeur of the Ottoman Empire. The tour continues with an exterior visit to the Hagia Sophia Mosque (entrance not included), a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture, followed by free time at the Grand Bazaar.

The excursion ends here, with return to the hotel on your own.

For those who wish, there is the opportunity to join an optional Bosphorus cruise (at an additional cost, payable locally), offering spectacular views of both the European and Asian sides of the city, with their iconic palaces, mosques, and fortresses. At the end of the cruise, transfer back to the hotel.

Full board. At sunrise, there is the opportunity to take an exciting hot air balloon ride to admire the breathtaking lunar landscapes of Cappadocia from above (optional, at an additional cost, subject to availability and weather conditions, and may be cancelled even a few hours before departure).

Full day dedicated to exploring Cappadocia, the birthplace of St. George and a unique region in the world for its combination of natural wonders and cultural heritage. Visit to the enchanting Devrent Valley, famous for its “fairy chimneys”, extraordinary rock formations shaped by wind and water erosion. Continue to the underground city of Özkonak (or a similar one), used as a refuge by early Christian communities, followed by a stop at a carpet and kilim workshop.

Visit to the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring rock-cut churches, chapels, and monasteries with well-preserved frescoes. Lunch during the excursion.

In the afternoon, admire the stunning landscapes of the Avcılar and Güvercinlik valleys, with views of Uçhisar Castle, a spectacular natural fortress carved into volcanic rock. Stop at a workshop for the processing of semi-precious stones, gold, and silver.

After breakfast, visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis, destroyed by an earthquake and later rebuilt in 17 AD, reaching its peak between the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. Continue to Pamukkale, where visitors can admire the spectacular natural terraces formed over thousands of years by the flow of mineral-rich thermal waters. A unique landscape where time seems to stand still, known as the “Cotton Castle” due to the bright white appearance of its formations.

Continue to Ephesus for a visit of the ancient city. Located on the slopes of a hill, Ephesus preserves outstanding remains of the classical world: the Odeon, a small theatre; the Curetes Street with its temples and statues; the Library of Celsus, built in the 2nd century AD and one of the most famous libraries of antiquity; the Marble Street beside the Agora; the Arcadian Way, which once led to the port; and the magnificent Great Theatre, with a capacity of around 25,000 spectators.

During the tour, stop at a leather workshop with a short fashion show demonstration.
