Discovering New York for the first time means being surprised by a city that reveals a different side of itself in every neighbourhood. With Per Mano a New York, the journey becomes an experience that combines the pleasure of discovery with the peace of mind of a carefully organised itinerary.
The six-day programme combines centrally located hotels, Italian-speaking guides, organised sightseeing tours and meals as specified in the itinerary, allowing travellers to explore the Big Apple without having to worry about planning every journey.
From Manhattan's skyscrapers to the streets of Brooklyn, from Harlem's musical traditions to the history of immigration told on Ellis Island, each day offers a different perspective on the city, with walks through historic neighbourhoods, panoramic experiences and opportunities to discover the atmosphere of everyday life in New York.

Day 1 New York
Arrival at New York airport and meeting with the driver for the transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, meet the local assistance staff for an informative briefing on the New York tour itinerary, including details about the visits and activities scheduled for the following days.

American breakfast at the hotel. Meet the guide and set off to discover Manhattan, exploring some of New York's most iconic neighbourhoods and landmarks.
The tour begins at Lincoln Center, a renowned cultural complex home to the Metropolitan Opera House, before continuing to Central Park. Here, enjoy a walk to Strawberry Fields, the memorial garden dedicated to John Lennon, featuring the famous Imagine mosaic.
The visit continues along Fifth Avenue, passing through Museum Mile, a stretch of the famous avenue lined with some of the city's leading museums. The route then reaches Rockefeller Center and the Flatiron Building, one of Manhattan's most recognisable historic buildings, known for its distinctive triangular shape.
The itinerary continues through Little Italy and Chinatown, two neighbourhoods that reflect the history of New York's immigrant communities, with views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges.
Next, explore the Financial District, the city's financial heart, stopping at Battery Park to admire the Statue of Liberty in the distance and take photographs. The tour continues towards the World Trade Center area, extensively transformed following the events of September 11, 2001, before returning to the hotel.
In the late afternoon, meet the guide again for an evening tour of New York, offering a different perspective on the city, with illuminated skyscrapers, broad avenues and the lights that define Manhattan after sunset.
The day concludes with dinner at a restaurant, accompanied by the assistance staff, followed by a return to the hotel for the overnight stay.

American breakfast at the hotel. Meet the guide and set off to explore the neighbourhoods of New York, discovering multicultural communities, local traditions and places that reflect the city's distinctive identity.
The tour begins in the Bronx, travelling through some of the borough's most characteristic areas, including Arthur Avenue, known for its historic Italian-American community, and the area around Yankee Stadium, the famous home of the New York Yankees baseball team.
Crossing the Triborough Bridge, the route continues into Queens, one of New York's most multicultural boroughs, where communities from many different backgrounds live side by side. The tour passes through Astoria, a neighbourhood known for its lively mix of cultures and traditions.
The itinerary continues into Brooklyn, passing through the streets of Williamsburg and the Brooklyn Navy Yard area, once an important shipbuilding centre and now part of a constantly evolving urban landscape. Along the way, discover neighbourhoods home to Hasidic Jewish communities, Italian-Americans and many other cultural groups that contribute to New York's distinctive melting pot.
The excursion ends at Grand Central Terminal, one of Manhattan's most iconic railway stations, renowned for its architecture and magnificent main concourse. There will be time for lunch at your own expense, which is not included.
In the afternoon, ascend to SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, the panoramic observation deck located on the upper floors of one of Manhattan's modern skyscrapers. The experience combines sweeping city views, reflective surfaces and immersive installations, offering a distinctive perspective on the New York skyline.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at a restaurant accompanied by the assistance staff, followed by a return to the hotel for the overnight stay.

American breakfast at the hotel. Meet the guide and set off to discover Harlem, one of New York's most significant neighbourhoods for the history and cultural heritage of the African American community, closely associated with the development of influential artistic and musical traditions.
The itinerary includes the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, one of the city's most important religious landmarks, and the prestigious Columbia University, one of the best-known universities in the United States. Continue to the legendary Apollo Theater, a historic landmark of African American music, whose stage has welcomed performers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and Michael Jackson.
One of the morning's most memorable experiences is attending a Baptist church service featuring a gospel choir, offering an opportunity to experience the spiritual and musical traditions of the local community.
After the visit, transfer to Chelsea Market, a lively food market housed in a converted industrial building, where there will be time for lunch at your own expense, which is not included.
In the afternoon, set off on an approximately three-hour walking tour through some of the most interesting neighbourhoods on Manhattan's West Side. The walk explores Chelsea and Greenwich Village, two areas known for their art galleries, historic buildings, tree-lined streets and vibrant cultural atmosphere.
The route continues along the High Line, an elevated park built on a former railway line, offering distinctive views of contemporary architecture and Manhattan's urban landscape.
The walk ends at Hudson Yards, a modern urban development overlooking the Hudson River, where skyscrapers, public spaces and innovative architecture reflect the city's ongoing transformation.
After the visits, return to the hotel. In the evening, dinner at a restaurant and overnight stay.

American breakfast at the hotel. Meet the guide and travel by subway to Brooklyn Heights, one of New York's most charming historic neighbourhoods, known for its elegant 19th-century residences, tree-lined streets and peaceful atmosphere, which sets it apart from the busier areas of Manhattan.
The walking tour continues through the neighbourhood's streets, past red-brick buildings, traditional townhouses and picturesque corners that preserve the charm of historic Brooklyn. Along the way, admire architectural details and period-style street lamps that contribute to the distinctive character of this residential area.
Continue to the famous Brooklyn Bridge, one of New York's architectural landmarks, inaugurated in 1883 to connect Brooklyn and Manhattan. Walking across the bridge offers memorable views of the East River, the skyscrapers of Lower Manhattan and the city skyline.
At the end of the Brooklyn Heights and Brooklyn Bridge walking tour, return to the hotel at approximately 12:30 PM.
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport in time for check-in and the return flight. End of services for the Per Mano a New York Tour.

Important note: to participate in the Brooklyn Heights and Brooklyn Bridge walking tour, the departure flight must be scheduled after 4:00 PM. If the flight departs earlier, it will not be possible to take part in the excursion.
