The TH La Thuile - Planibel Hotel & Residence is located in La Thuile, the westernmost municipality of the Aosta Valley at a height of 1,441 m above sea level. It is located between the Rutor massif, the Mont Blanc chain and the Grand Assaly pyramid and for this enviable position it represents the perfect starting point for excursions and walks in the midst of virgin and uncontaminated nature. The TH La Thuile - Planibel Hotel & Residence is a beautiful large complex in Alpine style and divided into a residence and the other hotel, plus it is located very close to the ski lifts. The hotel and the residence are joined together by a beautiful square where there are various types of shops and boutiques.
The structure has 261 rooms, all recently renovated in the typical alpine style but with a small touch of modernity that make them even more warm and welcoming.All rooms are equipped with all comforts including telephone, safe, TV and mini bar (filling service on request). All suites have double rooms and a living area with TV.

The bright and panoramic restaurant of the TH La Thuile offers rich breakfasts with assisted buffet service and express coffee. The restaurant, with buffet served for appetizers and desserts, includes an à la carte menu with table service for the main courses with a wide choice of international dishes, typical flavors, pizzeria with wood oven and an extensive wine list. Particular attention will be paid to guests with specific dietary needs, starting with the little ones.
For all skiers there is the opportunity to eat at high altitude at the TH2200 restaurant.
In a vast basin, at the confluence of two streams and surrounded by dense forests, La Thuile is surrounded by high mountains and extensive glaciers. It is one of the largest ski areas in the Western Alps and is linked to La Rosiére in France, plus it offers 160 km of slopes. The property is located a few steps from the ski lifts with 15 km of slopes and is close to the nursery slopes for younger skiers.
By train. The nearest railway station is Aosta. The connection with La Thuile is guaranteed by a bus service.
By car. From Aosta: Via SS 26 towards Courmayeur. At Pré Saint Didier take the SS 26 to Piccolo San Bernardo and follow it to La Thuile.
From Turin: Motorway A5 Torino-Courmayeur, exit Morgex. Take the SS 26 towards Courmayeur. At Pré Saint Didier take the SS 26 on the left towards Piccolo San Bernardo.
From Genoa: Motorway Genoa-Turin, take the junction for the Turin-Courmayeur, exit Morgex. Take the SS 26 towards Courmayeur. At Pré Saint Didier take the SS 26 on the left towards Piccolo San Bernardo.
Espace San Bernardo is an international area between Italy and France with over 150 km of pure fun slopes to be covered using the same ski pass. There are 37 ski lifts and 80 slopes for all levels and difficulties: red of medium difficulty, black for the more experienced and blue for those who are starting to approach skiing. In addition, snowboard and telemark slopes and 16 km dedicated to cross-country skiing. Continuing in the heart of the area you reach the peaks of Chaz Dura at 2579 m and Belvedere at 2641 m from where you can enjoy a 360 ° view of the Mont Blanc chain and the highest peaks in Europe. From there it is easy to reach Colle del Piccolo San Bernardo and the French ski area of La Rosiére with its countless slopes and a large area dedicated exclusively to snowboarding. The historic ski school of La Thuile, one of the most renowned in Italy, is available.
