Travel offers Maracalagonis

Maracalagonis is an arts and crafts centre in the city of Cagliari, southern Sardinia, 82 meters on the sea level and characterized by coastal pearls and archeological sites. It has been inhabited since very ancient times by the nuragic civilization (as the many remaining nuraghe testify) and then by Fenici and Punics. During the middle age it was made up of different villages that were part of the district of Cagliari; among the numerous villages there were those of Maria and Calagonis, whose unification (under the name Maracalagonis) took place during the aragonese domination.
