Adventure
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, the entire day is dedicated to discovering Fès, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco and the oldest of the imperial cities. Founded by Moulay Idriss II, this city represents the cradle of Moroccan civilization and the beating heart of the country's religious tradition. It is also home to the first religious university in the Islamic world, a testament to the historical and intellectual importance that Fès has always held in the Arab world. The visit begins in its legendary medieval medina, a labyrinth of ancient alleys and timeless atmospheres, where the scent of spices blends with the sounds of the market and the architectural charm of ancient Koranic schools such as the Medersa Attarine and Bou Anania. As you stroll through the souks and artisan workshops, you’ll encounter treasures like the Nejjarine Fountain, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss - a site of deep spirituality - and the exterior of the Karaouine Mosque, a true symbol of Islamic knowledge. In the afternoon, the journey continues with a visit to Fès Jdid, the "new city", built in the 13th century, which still preserves the authentic spirit of the Marinid dynasty. Here, the atmosphere is more spacious and airy, in stark contrast to the intensity of the old medina, yet equally rich in charm and history. At the end of the day, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
