The Sardinia Resort
consists of two buildings, Maddalena and Caprera. The bar, restaurant, and reception are located in the Maddalena building. A small train connects the buildings to the beautiful fine sandy beach, which is also easily reachable on foot. Equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers, the beach also features a bar for enjoying an ice cream or a refreshing drink between swims, as well as a restaurant where you can relax with a light lunch. The resort also offers a large swimming pool for adults and a smaller one exclusively for children. Mangia's Sardinia Resort is also equipped with extensive sports facilities, allowing guests to engage in numerous outdoor activities. For socialites, there are many planned events, including wine and food experiences, activities for children at the Kids Club and Teens Club, and excursions.
Sardinia Resort: The Rooms
The 545 rooms are cozy, bright, and furnished in a contemporary Mediterranean style, offering sea views. Each room is fully equipped for comfort and convenience, with views of either the garden or the sea. Mangia's Sardinia Resort offers different room categories: Superior, Superior Sea View, Junior Suite, and Junior Suite Sea View. All rooms feature a private bathroom, air conditioning, a mini-fridge, a welcome bottle of water, a coffee machine, toiletries, a kettle, Wi-Fi, and a hairdryer.
Superior rooms accommodate 2 to 3 guests, while Junior Suites accommodate 2 to 4 guests. All rooms are modern and elegantly furnished.
There is also a Standard Single room, equipped with the same aforementioned comforts.
Mangia's Sardinia Resort offers a Half Board treatment with microfiltered water included with meals, or Full Board with microfiltered water included with meals, available with an additional supplement, or Bed and Breakfast with a reduction depending on the selected option.
The main restaurant of the resort is "Mediterra": spacious, with a terrace offering an incredible sea view. It features a buffet service with a wide selection of local specialties and international dishes, as well as fantastic grilled items and live cooking shows (microfiltered water included with meals).
The resort also offers: "Donna Floriana Bistrot" (extra charge): an Italian bistro where you can enjoy an intimate and special dining experience, featuring typical Italian recipes with fish, meat, and vegetables, reinterpreted by the chefs.
"Al Grano Pizzeria" (extra charge, available for dinner only): the resort’s pizzeria, where the aroma of tomato and basil blends with the scent of pizza dough baking to perfection—an ideal place to enjoy an authentic Italian pizza.
"Beach Restaurant" (extra charge): a restaurant with a stunning sea view, where you can enjoy a light, fresh lunch or sip a delicious drink by the beach while listening to the waves gently lapping the shore.
Notes: Depending on the season, some extra-charge restaurants may be closed. The facility is not specialized in preparing specific gluten-free meals; furthermore, the complete absence of cross-contamination during the preparation and/or serving of dishes is not guaranteed. However, please note that the restaurant offers a wide variety of foods, including dishes that typically do not contain gluten, as well as some basic dedicated products and a gluten-free food corner for breakfast.
