Still outside the main tourist guides on Sicily, Terrasini is a delightful country with coasts and beaches perfect for surfing and windsurfing, sailing, kiting, diving etc. It is about 40 km from Palermo and a few KM from Falcone and Borsellino airport. Nearby there is a nature reserve managed by the WWF (Capo Rama) and the surrounding hills are ideal for trekking and cycling, although the local D'Aumale museum and its archaeological, folkloristic and naturalistic finds are also worth a visit.
