Budoni, little gem of the Baronie, is a town in proximity of small inlets, enchanting cliffs, long beaches with fine white sand and crystal-clear waters. Its privileged position includes little saltwater ponds with the typical vegetation made of tamarisks and canes where colonies of pink flamingoes stop. There are also many archeological sites on the hills that surround the town with their mediterranean-scrub pinewoods: the nuraghe Su Entosu, a single sighting tower located on a granite peak; the nuraghe Conca e Bentu and the "domus de jana" l'Agliola in the fraction of Solità.

The so-called "stazzi" of San Pietro, ancient houses built with local stone, mud and cement also deserve a visit: their inside is decorated with bright colours and on every facade there is the characteristic hoof made of stone and mud. Budoni is the perfect tourist destination to lose yourself in the enchanting landscapes that combine the green of the hills and the deep blue of the sea. There are clean beches and many festival and events are organized.

Budoni is also famous for its many night clubs, discotheques and meeting places that make the local nightlife particularly fun during every season. To the folklore lovers, however, Budoni offers many events, festivals and celebrations. On the 17th January there is the festival of Sant'Antonio Abate with the lighting of a bonfire and a wine tasting, two symbols of the cooperation and socializing between different populations. In February there is the Carnival with parades of floats and the distribution of delicious pancakes, beside the traditional "favata". On the Easter Sunday there is the celebration of the ritual "S'Incontru", with the departure of two different groups from two different localities that will meet in front of the parish church, commemorating the evangelical meeting between the Madonna and the Cristo Risorto (who rose from the dead). In June there is the festival dedicated to San Giovanni Battista with the typical "origliette", fried food flavored with honey.
