Brindisi, called "Porta d'Oriente" (eastern doorway) since the ancient times, is characterized by sandy and low coasts and a mild climate even during autumn and winter. Brindisi is full of tourist localities together with the Natural reserve of Torre Guaceto, many important thermal centres and also monuments and testimonies of ancient civilizations.
