Tour description
Vietnam Experience and Sapa is an 11-day tour from north to south, beginning among the mountains and rice fields of northern Vietnam before continuing through some of the country's most representative cities and landscapes.
After arriving in Hanoi, the journey heads towards Sapa, with trekking experiences through the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, followed by Y Linh Ho, an area inhabited by H'mong and Dao communities. Rice fields, mountains and villages characterise this first part of the itinerary before returning to the capital.
From Hanoi, the journey continues to Halong Bay, with an overnight cruise among limestone islands and natural caves. The tour then continues through central Vietnam to Hoi An, the ancient trading town recognised by UNESCO, and Hue, the former imperial capital of the Nguyen Dynasty.
The final part of the itinerary leads to Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City, where historic buildings, markets and pagodas reveal the contemporary character of the Vietnamese metropolis.
An itinerary combining Sapa, Hanoi, Halong, Hoi An, Hue and Saigon, alternating trekking, mountain landscapes, rice fields, historic cities and bays on a journey through Vietnam from north to south, with an Italian-speaking guide during the visits included in the programme.
